Baron Corbin has been part of the company for a decade now and became one of the most dependable stars on the main roster since 2016. He eventually changed into Happy Corbin and has been one of the most hated heels in WWE. Happy Corbin recently ambushed Pat McAfee after WWE Money in the Bank to continue their feud.
Corbin also accepted McAfee’s challenge to face off in the SummerSlam. After Money in the Bank ended, Corbin attacked McAfee from behind and dragged him into the audience. Corbin then punched him before kicking him back to the ringside, where he declared the end of the days.
Then he shouted that he had accepted McAfee’s challenge for SummerSlam, which will take place on July 31 in Nashville later this month. Later that night, McAfee was pictured wearing a neck brace at UFC 276 alongside Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Paul Levesque.
Here is the current confirmed lineup for SummerSlam:
– Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar in a last man standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
– Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin
Since Corbin’s loss to Madcap Moss in the Last Laugh match on SmackDown last month, McAfee and Corbin have been at odds. McAfee berated Corbin after the defeat. When Corbin was questioned about McAfee’s challenge for a SummerSlam match this past Friday, he opted not to answer. Check out the tweets below.
