Chris Jericho Believes MJF Would Get ‘Watered Down’ In WWE

MJF is considered one of the best heels in the pro wrestling business, with many comparing him to ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. MJF has honed his craft over the years and cemented himself as one of the top stars in AEW. Chris Jericho also believes MJF will be watered down in WWE.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2024. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

While speaking with Talksport, Chris Jericho talked about MJF going to WWE. Jericho stated that he believes MJF would be watered down in WWE.

Oh absolutely, [his character would be watered down in WWE]. He’s better off staying in AEW. But, again, don’t stick your finger in the light socket. You tell a little kid not to do that, and they’re going to do it to see what happens.

AEW also wants fans to think he isn’t with the company anymore. In the meantime, AEW isn’t mentioning the Salt of the Earth and fans are expecting his eventual and surprise return since this whole situation is a work. We will have to wait and see if MJF ever makes his way to WWE or not.
