Vince McMahon Did Not Rip Up The Script Before WWE SmackDown This Week

Vince McMahon made mainstream headlines when a $3 million hush money scandal broke. He stepped down as WWE CEO, but that didn’t cause any creative issues this week.

It was previously reported that things did not go smoothly backstage at SmackDown and Vince McMahon ripped up the planned script. In reality, things went much differently.

Ringside News was told that “Vince McMahon did not rip up any script” before SmackDown this week. In fact, things went incredibly well for everyone backstage.

As we exclusively reported, Vince McMahon was all smiles backstage at SmackDown this week. We were told that if you didn’t know about the scandal then you would have thought he “won the lottery.”

We’ll have to see how things progress in the weeks to come, because this is still a brand new situation. It seems that Vince McMahon’s scandal did not throw any extra pressure on the creative process this week.
