Vince McMahon’s entire life turned on dime when news broke that he allegedly paid WWE employee hush money to keep an extramarital affair quiet. McMahon has been heavily criticized for his behavior. Many are questioning his future with the company.
One person who has not been talked about much regarding the scandal is Linda McMahon. The wife of WWE’s CEO is likely none too happy about the news. It would take an enormous leap of faith for Linda to stand by her man, given the circumstances.
A split between Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon reportedly happened long ago. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the nature of their relationship. He claimed the couple has not been together for quite some time.
“Technically, they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.”
A split between Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon has been rumored for quite a while. Meltzer’s report seems to confirm it. They are still legally married but have not lived together for a significant time.
There are still plenty of details about the Vince McMahon scandal we do not know. Time will tell if we ever hear Linda McMahon’s side of the story. For the moment, she might want to continue to distance herself from the situation, although that will be very difficult.
