Injuries can happen at any time in the world of professional wrestling and end a talent’s career. That is what happened to Paige as she had to retire early after getting kicked from the back by Sasha Banks during a 2017 WWE MSG Show. Years later, and Paige never wrestled again, but that didn’t stop her from trying time and time again to pitch a storyline that WWE would use to get her back on television.

Since her injury, Paige had teased on numerous occasions that she is close to making an in-ring return. Paige then recently announced that she’ll be leaving WWE next month.

While speaking during a recent Twitch stream, Paige revealed she pitched to manage Ronda Rousey prior to WWE letting her go. Sadly, WWE didn’t seem to like this idea so it never saw the light of day.

“I offered to be the voice piece for Ronda.”

Paige also feels she’s 1000% ready for an in-ring return. She is also accepting bookings for the future. Only time will tell if she goes to AEW, but that is totally possible if the money is right. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Paige.
