Wade Barrett was one of the WWE superstars most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. After being released by the company, Barrett began to work in non-wrestling roles. He returned as commentator for NXT in 2020 and has not returned to his home country of England since.

During the pandemic, Wade Barrett became United States citizen. Barrett no longer had to deal with work visas, as travel became a nightmare during the pandemic. Unfortunately, he was unable to get home for many of those same reasons.

Today, Barrett took to Twitter to share that he finally got to pay a visit to his old home. Wade visited the iconic Abbey Road and toured around London to help deal with his jet lag. He seems very happy to be back.

“Back home in sunny for the first time since the pandemic.

Staving off jet-lag and being a tourist at Abbey Rd. Proper Beatles fanboy here (Red Album).”

Wade Barrett noted that he has a packed schedule for his trip home. There are a lot of people and places he hasn’t seen for years. Hopefully, Wade enjoys his travels and has a safe trip back to the US!
