Jim Cornette Believes MJF Would Get ‘More Leeway’ In WWE

MJF is considered one of the best heels in all of pro wrestling, with many comparing him to ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. MJF has honed his craft over the years and cemented himself as one of the top stars in AEW. There is also a belief that he’d get leeway if he goes to WWE.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2024. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

While speaking during the Question and Answer segment of his Drive Thru’ podcast, Jim Cornette stated that he believes MJF would get leeway in WWE.

“I think that they would automatically have a little more respect for him and let him, because the nature of the personality they’re getting have a little more leeway in saying things the way he wanted to, or in picking a few things. I’m not saying he’d have as much as an AEW, but you know, I think he could still be himself and still do what gets him over in that environment.”

AEW also wants fans to think he isn’t with the company anymore. We will have to wait and see if MJF will ever make his way to WWE or not.
