Matt Riddle Called ‘Championship Material’ By WWE Hall Of Famer

After joining WWE, Matt Riddle has been one of the highlights of WWE television, whether it was in NXT or the main roster. His in-ring skills are one of the best in the company and he already has good fan following. Mark Henry also thinks highly of Matt Riddle.

Matt Riddle recently made it clear he plans on defeating Roman Reigns and becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Paul Heyman also sent him a warning after this.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry talked about Matt Riddle’s current status in WWE. Henry stated that he thinks Riddle is World Championship material.

“Championship material. That’s what he is. World Heavyweight Championship material because people feel for him, people love him…it’s hardest thing in the wrestling business to get, it’s sympathy and affection. Now you can have Riddle not do the scooter. You can always have Riddle dial stuff back and say, you know what, it says it in the Bible. Once I was a child and did childish things and then I grew up and act as a man and put away childish things. We always say wrestling is the Bible, it’s good vs. evil. It’s simply psychology.”

Matt Riddle is likely to square off against Roman Reigns for his Undisputed Universal Championship. Fans would love to see Riddle and Reigns duke it out in the future, so we wonder if he’ll ever win World Championship or not.
