Brian Cage is one of the most impressive specimens in professional wrestling. Built like a tank, Cage also has an uncanny athleticism usually only seen in smaller performers. Brian is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, where he has been largely absent from television as of late.

The impressive moveset and look of Brian Cage haven’t been enough to push him to superstardom just yet. Cage said that he has a plan in place for his return to AEW television, but thus far, it has not played out. One former WWE superstar recently criticized cage for his in-ring work, noting that he still has a lot to figure out.

Paul London was a guest on Cafe De Rene with Rene Dupree. The former ex-WWE star said he likes Brian Cage, but his ring work doesn’t fit his massive size. London thinks Brian needs to figure something out to make his matches more believable.

“I like Brian [Cage] … but like, he doesn’t do himself any favors because, you know, you’re telling me that a guy who looks like a truck can literally do 10-20 things to somebody half his size and still lose? Then what are you hitting them with, like, marshmallows? …  I hope Brian can somehow figure it out to where it’s like, you’re not going to bump the same for everybody.”

Brian Cage last appeared on AEW television last October. He showed up at the ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view and joined a stable with Tully Blanchard. So far, he has not been seen since.

Fans will have to wait and see what Tony Khan has planned for Brian Cage. The ability and the looks are there. Cage is hoping whatever AEW has planned helps launch him into the stratosphere.
