Britt Baker is a heel on AEW television, but that might work a bit too well. It turns out that some fans just turn off Tony Khan’s product when they see her.

One fan commented on Twitter to say, “Another episode of #AEWDynamite… another episode without the AEW Women’s Champion…” After all, Thunder Rosa wasn’t on the show, because she was sick and they sent her home.

Bill Shannon fired off a tweet in reply that said, “But they made sure to give Britt Baker a bunch of time. Or maybe it was just a couple of minutes. I don’t know. I turned it off when she came out and never turned back. #AEW #AEWDynamite”

AEW’s resident dentist didn’t take too kindly to this tweet from Shannon. She fired off a response and made a point to say that anyone who turns off their television because she appears is also doing so to everyone else in her segment.

“Then you also turned the channel on 3 other women. LOL contrary to your tweet, I didn’t wrestle myself. You missed a hell of a match, dickhead. Please keep tweeting/lying about turning the channel on me every week so I can trend forever. God I love my fans. 😘🥰🤗”

We’ll have to see what Britt Baker does next. She won the Owen Hard Foundation Tournament and now carries a title she likely will never defend. Only time will tell when she gets back into the AEW Women’s Title picture once again. It probably won’t matter to some fans who just change the channel whenever Pittsburgh’s greatest champion appears.
