Thunder Rosa Sent Home Sick Before AEW Dynamite This Week

Thunder Rosa is the AEW Champion, but she wasn’t on hand for a very big show this week. AEW played Los Angeles, but their Women’s Champion was absent. It turns out that she showed up, but was not well.

According to a report from PW Insider, Thunder Rosa showed up for Dynamite this week at the Forum. She wasn’t feeling well and then a doctor sent her home. It was not noted what kind of illness she was suffering from.

The word making the rounds is that Rosa was at the taping but wasn’t feeling well and was sent home to convalesce by the company’s doctor.

Thunder Rosa is not injured, and that’s good news. The bad news is that she was sick. Hopefully, she was only suffering from a short-term setback, because illness of any kind is never fun.

Thunder Rosa was able to beat Serena Deeb at Double or Nothing and retain her AEW Women’s World Title. She will be back to defend it, but Thunder Rosa took this week off to take care of her health.
