Sasha Banks & Naomi’s Current WWE Contract Status During Suspension

WWE had a tough situation when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out instead of going through with Vince McMahon’s creative direction. They are suspended, and it was reported they aren’t getting paid, so that could give us a bigger clue.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Banks and Naomi’s deals are not believed to have been frozen if they aren’t getting paid. Dave Meltzer was the first to report that they aren’t getting paid, but if their deals are frozen as well, then that could point to this becoming a much longer situation.

A higher said they don’t believe Naomi and Sasha Banks’ contracts would be frozen if they’re not being paid.

This is an interesting note, because Naomi’s contract was running out. Banks still has a bit of time left.

We will keep our eyes peeled for more updates on this story. The tournament to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions has also not been talked about, so we’ll just have to see what they do.
