MJF is currently one of the most defining heels of this generation for many. He has already solidified himself as a main event star despite not winning any major title yet. However, Tony Khan refused to comment on his status after AEW Double Or Nothing.

MJF has made headlines for all the wrong reasons as he no-showed the AEW fan fest event. In fact, his Double Or Nothing status was up in the air for long time. It was said that MJF was frustrated after feeling he overperformed in his current AEW contract.

Thankfully, MJF showed up at AEW Double Or Nothing and got brutally squashed by Wardlow. While speaking during the post AEW Double Or Nothing media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about MJF’s status after the show. Khan simply refused to comment on it.

“I’m not going to comment on that. I’ve got a lot of stuff from the pay-per-view that I can comment on, but I’m not going to comment on that.”

MJF was stretchered out to the back after his loss to Wardlow. It is likely he has been written off AEW television for a while. We’ll have to see whether MJF’s situation with AEW will improve or not.
