WWE is known to bring former talent in to play larger roles for the company backstage. Now Jeff Jarrett is set to take on a big position in Vince McMahon’s company.

According to PW Insider, Double J is set to take on a new gig with WWE on the executive level. He will be in a significant role in the company with this new job.

Jarrett will be working on the live events side of WWE’s business in a high level executive position. One source described it as Jarrett “taking over live events.”  We are told Jarrett will officially begin his duties next week.

Vince McMahon’s company brought Jeff Jarrett back in January 2019 as a producer. He later made a shift into the company’s creative team in March of that same year. At that time he was able to transition himself into playing a big role during live events.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
