CM Punk has become one of the best things about AEW television after debuting in the company last year. The Second City Saint has more than delivered when it came to the storyline he has been involved in. CM Punk also made an interesting claim recently.

CM Punk has been putting over younger talent ever since he came to AEW, including the likes of Darby Allin and MJF. Fans couldn’t be happier with CM Punk’s booking in AEW.

While speaking with Marc Raimondi in feature on ESPN, CM Punk stated that he spent far too much time worrying while in WWE. On the other hand, Punk is just living in the moment in AEW and claimed that he is 100% in his prime now.

“I feel like it was kind of wasted. What old head you’re gonna make mad for no reason. It could have been so much more. It should have been so much more. And now, this is everything I dreamed pro wrestling could and should be. And I’m here and I’m f—ing in the moment. I’m not thinking about tomorrow. I’m not worried about s— that happened yesterday. I’m living in the moment and I’m 100% in my f—ing prime, best I’ve ever been.”

Tony Khan stated that CM Punk has helped AEW’s revenue as well. We will have to see whether Punk defeats Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing on May 29th.
