John Morrison was one of the highlights of WWE television after his return back in 2019. He was eventually released by WWE despite his best efforts. He recently debuted in AEW and Tony Khan is interested in bringing him back as well.
The former WWE Superstar made his debut in AEW as Johnny Elite on a previous week’s episode of Dynamite. He had a solid match against Samoa Joe but was not able to pick up the win.
According to the Wrestling Observer, AEW President Tony Khan said that Johnny Elite is someone he is interested in bringing back for a future program.

Johnny Elite is not officially part of the AEW roster as of yet. However, the two parties could certainly come to an agreement if they want to. It remains to be seen if Elite will return to AEW in the future or not.
