Bill DeMott served as a trainer for WWE for years after wrapping up his in-ring career. Controversy struck in 2015, as several trainees accused the former Hugh Morris of sexual harassment, homophobia, and racism. DeMott was fired by WWE, but still follows the product and shares his opinions.

The recent incident where Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on Raw over creative differences has been the talk of the pro wrestling community. Sasha and Naomi were not happy with the way they were being booked as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Rather than do something they didn’t like, they threw down their title belts and left.

Bill DeMott expressed his thoughts on the matter via his private Twitter account. DeMott said WWE was acting hypocritically in their treatment of Sasha Banks and Naomi. He compared their situation to the way WWE has completely ignored Hall of Famer Sunny’s DUI manslaughter arrest.

“So, they will come out on @WWE and say how Sasha & Naomi are #Unproffesional BUT they will not address a #HallOfFame superstar who has killed someone after numerous #DUIs. I wonder how this looks to the public?”

There are some clear differences in the situation. Sasha Banks and Naomi directly affected an advertised main event on Monday’s episode of Raw. Sunny has not been a regular for WWE in years. Still, DeMott’s point stands.

Many have called for the removal of Sunny from the WWE Hall of Fame. Her years of terrible behavior and legal problems have been a nightmare. Time will tell if WWE c0ntinues to ignore her situation.
