Seth Rollins has become one of the most established Superstars in all of WWE. The Architect has been part of numerous important moments in the last decade, be it his Shield moments or winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania 31. He also shot down a claim made by Booker T, because Rollins didn’t have anything easy in his career.

Rollins has been engaged in a feud with Cody Rhodes since WrestleMania 38. He was unable to defeat Rhodes at the Show of Shows. Despite his best efforts, Rollins also lost to The American Nightmare at WrestleMania Backlash earlier this month.

Rollins will now take on Rhodes in Hell In A Cell match on June 5th. While speaking on WWE Raw Talk, Booker T was asked who needed to win at WWE Hell in a Cell. Booker T said Rollins needs it more and claimed that he had an easy route to the top.

“Of course, Seth Rollins needs this win more. Cody Rhodes is 2-0 heading into the rubber match. I must say, Cody Rhodes, he’s not one of those guys that had that easy route. He had to work for everything. Seth Rollins is a guy that made it to the top relatively easy. He had a lot of help. Cody had to break himself down and rebuild himself. That’s the Cody Rhodes we see today,.”

Seth Rollins took to Twitter and fired back at Booker T’s claim, as Rollins mentioned how he was part of the independent circuit as Tyler Black before he joined WWE.

This narrative is false. I started wrestling at 18 years old in back rooms of bars, in pole barns, at UAW Halls, the occasional parking lot. Lost money. Broke bones. Drove countless hours alone just to build a name that got erased the second I walked in the WWE door.

Seth Rollins certainly has a chip on his shoulder right now. He has a lot to prove and we’ll have to see if he can finally defeat Cody Rhodes at Hell In A Cell or not. For Seth Rollins, this is perhaps his final opportunity to redeem himself.
