Kevin Owens Believes A Lot Of WWE Superstars Wouldn’t Be With The Company Without Triple H

Kevin Owens is currently one of the top Superstars in WWE and it took him a long time to get to this level. Right after making an impact by beating John Cena in his main roster debut match, Owens went on to win numerous titles since 2015. Owens also made an interesting claim recently, because it was still Triple H who brought Owens in and shot him straight to the top of NXT’s black and gold version.

Triple H previously announced his retirement from in-ring competition after having a cardiac issue that required surgery. Triple H was instrumental in Kevin Owens becoming the WWE Universal Champion back in 2016 along with so many other things.

While speaking with TalkSPORT, Kevin Owens talked about the importance of Triple H in his career. He stated that he believes many stars wouldn’t have been in WWE if not for Triple H.

“I wasn’t surprised when I met him that he was a guy who was all about growing the industry and giving people a chance. He proved my assumptions right many times over the past few years and a lot of us – a lot of us – wouldn’t be here without him.”

Kevin Owens is currently feuding with Ezekiel on Monday Night RAW. We’ll have to see how their feud will progress in the coming weeks. Fans are certainly invested in it as well.
