WWE boasts itself as a land of opportunities. The conglomerate has its presence in more than 100 countries around the world. WWE continues to make record profits. That doesn’t mean everything is going well behind the scenes.

According to Brad Shepard Unleashed, a major WWE executive is set to leave the company soon. Kevin Moore is the Vice President of E-Commerce and Venue Merchandise and has been an integral part of the company’s merchandising success for 10 years.

“I spoke with multiple sources in WWE and they have confirmed Kevin Moore will be leaving WWE. Kevin is the Vice President of E-Commerce and Venue Merchandise. His responsibilities include WWEShop.com and venue (live events) merchandising.”

Kevin’s departure is said to be a direct result of business deals WWE has struck under the new leadership of President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan. Kevin is considered to be an approachable and all-around great individual.

“I’m also told this was a ‘hit to morale’ because he was very well liked across many departments and had strong relationships with people at all levels. He was described to me as involved with talent, hands on and approachable.

“He is leaving on his own accord. Kevin has been with WWE for almost 10 years and is considered a key piece to the success of WWE’s merchandising model and revenue.”

The news of Kevin’s departure comes weeks after WWE released 10 NXT 2.0 stars from their contracts. Things are always shifting in WWE, but this departure could go on to change a lot about how WWE’s shop operates. You can read the complete list of names who were recently released right here.
