Shelton Benjamin is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling. He had a couple of stints in WWE, where he saw success as a singles and tag team star. He is now out of action due to injury.

Benjamin had a great run as part of the Hurt Business alongside Cedric Alexander. He even won the RAW Tag Team Titles with Alexander back in 2020 but it did not last long. Sadly, the Hurt Business is no more despite Cedric’s attempts to re-form them.

Shelton Benjamin took to Twitter and officially announced that he will be on the shelf due to an undisclosed injury. He did not specify how long he will be on the shelf as well.

“For only the second time In my career An injury has put me on the shelf. I’ll be back soon. In the meantime I will be putting in the work to come back better than I was before my little setback. See you guys soon!”

Benjamin was last seen during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal during the WrestleMania week edition of Friday Night SmackDown. We will have to wait and see when Benjamin makes his return to in-ring competition. We here at Ringside News wish him a speedy recovery.
