Kenny Omega is one of the top performers in the world today. Kenny has delivered bangers against the likes of Kazuchika Okada, Bryan Danielson Adam Page and others. Now, he’s calling out outlets over his recent comments on mixed tag wrestling rules.

Omega recently took to Twitter to talk about his tag match with Riho against Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. The match took place on Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea in 2020.

Best mix match in AEW history by far. It helped that it was an actual match and not the weird “must tag out” rules. Those suck real bad.

The Cleaner responded to a fan’s tweet who brought to his attention an article which said that Omega took a jab at WWE’s mixed tag rules with his comments. Here’s what Omega said.

This click bait BS happens way too often. Where did I say WWE? Find one example, please. I was in fact, referencing other mix matches in my own promotion. You know, the one where I work and should focus my efforts on? Jesus Murphy…

Kenny Omega also underwent major hernia surgery a while ago. We’ll have to wait and see when the former AEW World Champion make his much-anticipated return to the squared circle.
