Mia Yim made selective appearances in the wake of her WWE release. Mia spent four years with the company. She appeared on NXT from 2017 to 2020 and then on the main roster until her release in 2021.
Mia returned to IMPACT Wrestling during their Under Siege special on Saturday, May 7th. The former WWE star prevented Deonna Purrazzo from further attacking AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie.
According to Fightful Select, Mia has signed a deal with IMPACT Wrestling and will be a part of their roster going forward. Yim previously worked for IMPACT from 2015 to 2017 as Jade.
As first reported by Laredo Kid, Mia Yim appeared for IMPACT Wrestling tonight at Under Siege after years away from the company. Fightful Select has learned this is not a one off, and Mia has signed with the company. Yim had been very selective of her wrestling appearances since her WWE release and had only competed a couple of times. Yim formerly wrestled for TNA as Jade, where she became Knockouts Champion. She left the company in January 2017.
Tonight’s Under Siege event will be headlined by Josh Alexander and Tomohiro Ishii. The Under Siege special is exclusively available on IMPACT Plus subscription service and IMPACT Insiders on YouTube.
