WWE axed ten people from NXT last week and more could be coming soon enough. Persia Pirotta was a part of those cuts and now she’s able to look back at her WWE career.

Pirotta is hitting the ground running. She’s already taking indie dates and considering a leap onto OnlyFans. We’ll just have to see what she does next, but her NXT release wasn’t a huge shock for her.

Many fans were surprised by Pirotta’s firing, but when she spoke with Fightful, the former lover of Duke Hudson expressed the idea that WWE’s track record of nixing talent proceeded them.

She told Fightful that she didn’t consider it a shock because of the way talent has been cut since she’d been there and she’d been thinking about it a lot ever since she got hired. The conversation wasn’t long, and she knew when she saw a call from Stamford that her time was coming. She doesn’t believe there are many people there that could consider themselves immune from it.

It was also said that, “De Lander told us that she had considered the releases, and heard rumors they were happening close to Good Friday. She spoke highly of Doudop’s demeanor and said they and Kay Lee Ray were hanging out the day before release day and spoke about the possibility of them happening.”

Pirotta was signed to WWE in 2019 and her original contract would have been up this year. She was brought on thanks to Indie Hartwell, because the two have a legit connection prior to WWE. Now Indie is all alone on the NXT brand, because they also fired her on-screen husband Dexter Lumis.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
