Dexter Lumis Announced For First Appearance Since WWE Release

Dexter Lumis took to Twitter in the wake of his WWE release to let everybody know that Samuel Shaw was coming back. An intense video showed Shaw painting the head of mannequin in a deranged manner. The new Samuel Shaw has now been announced for his first post-WWE appearance.

ARW is an independent promotion based in Orlando, Florida. The location is very convenient for a former NXT talent. They announced via Twitter that Samuel Shaw is coming back to the promotion for their “Born in Blood” event on June 24th.

“@WrestlingAtomic is excited to announce the #ARW return of SAMUEL SHAW @DexterLumis on Fri June 24th in Melbourne Florida for ‘Born In Blood’.”

ARW Born In Blood takes place on Friday, June 24th at the Rubix Cafe in Melbourne, Florida. The event will be taped for the promotion’s weekly Fite TV program. There is no word on what ARW will have on tap for the former NXT superstar.

As Dexter Lumis, Samuel Shaw was a member of “The Way,” a popular stable in NXT. Later, he went on to have an on-screen wedding with Indi Hartwell on the first episode of NXT 2.0. Before that, he worked independently around the country as well as wrestling for the NWA and Impact.

We will have to wait and see what’s next for Samuel Shaw. He certainly didn’t wait long to get back to work after the bad news from WWE. We’ll get our first look at what he can do when he invades ARW next month.
