WWE just cut 10 people from the NXT brand. More releases could be on the way, but one former champion wants out of WWE all together.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Roderick Strong has requested his release from WWE. It was reported that he has asked for his release “multiple times” over the past several months.

Roderick Strong has asked for his WWE release “multiple times” over the last several months. We’re told that Strong has grown frustrated with many things over the past year within the company and had requested his release, which has been denied by WWE.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. Roderick Strong is in the Diamond Mine stable, but WWE has released so many people from that faction that it is not the same at all anymore. Malcolm Bivens, the faction’s manager, was a part of the last round of cuts.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
