Sammy Guevara Reacts To Young Fan’s Devastation Over TNT Title Loss

Sammy Guevara has been losing a lot of fans lately. After negative crowd reactions to his on-screen pairing with real-life girlfriend Tay Conti, AEW has presented him as heel. Guevara still has at least one young fan who still believes in him.

Guevara lost the TNT Championship to Scorpio Sky in a ladder match on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Scorpio Sky was treated like a conquering hero by the Philadelphia crowd. In Houston, a little boy shrieked at the television as he watched Sammy’s title slip away.

A Twitter user shared a video of his son watching the finish of the match. Dressed in his “Sammy wrestling trunks,” he was devastated when he saw his hero drop the title. Sammy Guevara took notice and apologized to this distraught fan.

“Sorry little man. I promise I’ll get that belt back one day”

Sammy Guevara is already a three-time TNT Champion. Now, he will have a little bit more motivation to get the title back. Despite many turning on Sammy, this little boy still has faith.

We will have to wait and see if Sammy can keep his promise. Scorpio Sky is the reigning champion, whether Sammy’s fans like it or not. For one young boy in Texas, Guevara’s fourth championship can’t come soon enough.
