WWE is known to make cuts to their roster in the name of budget cuts. We’re not sure what they are blaming on these recent releases, but we have another name to add to the list.

WWE also released Dakota Kai today, and that is another big loss for the roster.

Malcolm Bivens has been released from his NXT contract. Sean Sapp reports that The Diamond Mine’s leader was offered a new contract in February, but he didn’t take it.

Fightful has learned that Malcolm Bivens has been released by WWE. The company had asked him to re-sign in February, and he’d made it clear he didn’t want to do so.

This is a big loss for NXT, because Malcolm Bivens’ still had a lot of untapped potential. We’ll just have to see where he ends up next, because Bivens has some close ties with people in AEW. His program with Orange Cassidy is still epic to re-watch to this day.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
