WWE has many former Superstars in the pro wrestling landscape that they wouldn’t mind bringing back. There are some who have burned that bridge as well, but you can never say never in WWE. That being said, Ryback’s chances of making a WWE return do not look great.

Ryback will tease fans from time to time about a pro wrestling comeback. The problem is that nobody has invited him to appear on their programming just yet. After years of hinting at a return to the ring, his fans are still left waiting.

Ringside News asked around about former WWE Superstars that the company might want to come back. This was during the same conversation where we confirmed that WWE doesn’t really have any interest in an FTR comeback.

We asked about Ryback and received a very blunt reply. A tenured member of the creative team told us that, “Ryback is a risk, and the general consensus on him is that he’s a head case.”

One must do a lot in order to obtain the moniker “nut case,” but Ryback is no stranger to snagging a headline thanks to his off-the-wall tweets. We were further told that, “he’s reckless in the ring and hurts people.” All of those things combined to create a very good reason why Ryback hasn’t made his WWE return yet.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
