Ricky Starks Claims He’s Always Been A Main Eventer In AEW

Ricky Starks is definitely one of the best things about AEW television lately. He is currently the FTW Champion and fans continue to be behind him no matter what. Ricky Starks also made an interesting claim recently.

Starks is also always compared to The Rock, fact that surprises him. Especially when it comes to the way he dresses and his mannerisms and promo skills. The comparisons are certainly plausible according to many.

While speaking with Blake Oestriecher of Forbes, Ricky Starks talked about his reign as the FTW World Champion. Starks claimed that he has always been a main eventer in AEW.

“Even before I was born, I think I was always meant to be a main eventer. In any situation, any company, any place anywhere in this world, I’m a main eventer, first and foremost…Within the AEW world, I’m definitely a main eventer. I’ve been doing it for 11 years and really had to maul my way through the independent scene, especially when I wasn’t a big name and when I wasn’t someone that everyone knew of.”

Team Taz is currently feuding with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee on AEW television. We’ll have to see how their feud will progress in the coming weeks.
