Bianca Belair also won the RAW Women’s Championship after defeating Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. Right after that, Sonya Deville immediately became her first opponent. There is a reason why Deville stepped up next.

According to Dave Meltzer of WOR, the company did not want to revisit Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch’s rivalry so soon after WrestleMania 38. Despite this, WWE was criticized for making Belair look weak.

Bianca Belair will be defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It will also be taking place in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. We’ll have to see how Belair will fare in the match.
