AEW are looking to make a name for themselves in the video game industry with their name game. The promotion’s gaming division is reportedly eyeing a September release and that is enough to excite fans.

Details surrounding playable characters have yet to be publicized. The promotion has a stacked roster but that doesn’t mean AEW would include every performer in the upcoming video game.

AEW play-by-play commentator and interviewer Tony Schiavone recently revealed his status in the game. Schiavone had an interesting reply for a fan who asked him about whether or not he’s a playable character in the game.

Ha! No ! If they ever have one, his finishing move will be “falling asleep”

We will have to see how AEW’s debut on console gaming does. Yuke’s Pacific, who helped produce some of WWE’s best throwback games, are the game’s developers.
