Eric Young had a decent run in Triple H’s NXT as leader of the heel group, SANITY. The four-member faction caused chaos on the black and gold brand until they were called up to the main roster in 2018.

Young recently sat down with Lucas Charpiot for VL Media in France to talk about the possibility of returning to the WWE in future. Young is open to a WWE return, but believes his price would be too much for the company to pay.

“I mean I’m always interested in making money. I don’t think they don’t want me back though. Besides, my price would be too high for them. They wouldn’t be able to afford it. Obviously, there are tons of guys there that I would love to work with.

“For example, Seth Rollins, with whom I had the chance to work when he was still very young. I worked with him ten or twelve years ago in Iowa for an indie show. There’s a ton of crazy, crazy talented people there. I would jump at the opportunity, but I don’t think they can afford me to be honest.”

Young performed on SmackDown until 2019 when he was drafted to RAW as part of the Superstar Shake-up. His final appearances for the company saw him work Main Event on Saturday nights.
