McIntyre was also set to come out to a special entrance. Actor and heavy metal performer Sean Stark took to Twitter and revealed that he and his group were brought in to be a part of McIntyre’s entrance at the Showcase Of The Immortals.

It was previously reported that WWE had to cut short the entrance due to time constraints, but that wasn’t the case at all. It is now being reported that McIntyre made the call to nix those plans. Fightful Select reported that it was Drew’s call to nix that entrance.

It was actually Drew McIntyre’s call to nix the planned WrestleMania entrance. It was originally noted by one of the people involved that it was due to time constraints, but we were told that wasn’t the issue.

Instead we’re told McIntyre didn’t feel like the additions didn’t enhance the entrance and he wanted to connect to the crowd more than wanting an over the top entrance.

We’re told that everyone that was supposed to be associated with the entrance still got paid, as well as all access passes to WrestleMania. The entrance was to feature several men in kilts with swords.

McIntyre made his usual entrance. The match ended when the former WWE champion delivered a huge claymore to get the final pin over Corbin. After the match, McIntyre grabbed his sword to confront Moss who stood on the apron.

Moss narrowly escaped getting slashed in half by McIntyre who destroyed the ring ropes with his giant weapon. The sword finally did something more than just resting in the hands of McIntyre.
