Samoa Joe has done it all when it comes to being a pro wrestler in the industry. He competed in numerous companies such as ROH, TNA and many more, where Joe became better in every way. Joe also tried to convince WWE to buy ROH.

Samoa Joe had two solid runs in NXT, where the won the NXT Champion and also competed in numerous top matches. He also has a deep connection with Ring Of Honor, as many fans know.

While speaking with the media following Ring Of Honor’s Supercard Of Honor show, Samoa Joe admitted that he tried to convince WWE to buy the ROH tape library.

“Obviously it was a major surprise to me. Especially coming from my former position and how hard I was pushing to buy the library for the other company. So, that would be why it’s been such a difficult process. When that did come up, at the same time, having Tony have it and knowing how much he loves wrestling.

And knowing how much he loved ROH as a product, just from our meetings and our time knowing each other. I knew it would be in good hands, and I knew it would be treated with respect. I knew it would be made available for the fans in the best way possible. So, I was very, very happy.”

Samoa Joe is also set to appear on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see how The Samoan Submission Machine will fare in AEW.
