WWE Now Listing Bobby Lashley As A Babyface

Bobby Lashley missed some time after suffering an injury at the Royal Rumble. Lashley returned to Raw recently to set up a WrestleMania feud with Omos. The two will get it on in Dallas this weekend. Lashley’s character has undergone a bit of a change to fit the storyline.

Lashley was previously working as a heel. Bobby suffered kayfabe concussion in the Elimination Chamber match to explain his time away. Now that he is feuding with Omos, WWE is looking to position him as a fan favorite.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported the news. WWE confirmed that they have Bobby Lashley listed as a babyface going forward. Omos will work their match as a heel, which is no surprise.

“Going forward, Bobby Lashley is now officially a babyface for the Raw roster, PWInsider.com has confirmed.”

Lashley and Omos will be an interesting match. Omos is being positioned as WWE’s favorite giant. Bobby’s legitimate fight background makes him seem like the perfect one to take Omos down.

During their recent confrontation on Raw, Lashley took Omos off his feet for the first time since his debut. The commentators were quick to point out the achievement. Now we will have to wait until WrestleMania to see if Lashley is able to conquer yet another major challenge in his career.
