NXT 2.0 made its debut in September last year and it promised an entirely new outlook on the product. While it did bring about quite a few changes, not everything hit the mark in a way fans wanted. The USA Network is also happy with the show’s ratings.

With a fresh look and coat of paint, came a new sense of direction which has seen a new set of WWE Superstars, especially the likes of Bron Breakker. In spite of that, fans continue to feel the product is lacking in many ways.

Ratings for the show have also not been all that good for quite a long time now. However, it did get a slight boost with Dolph Ziggler as the NXT Champion recently.

While speaking on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian Zarian revealed that The USA Network is happy with NXT 2.0’s current ratings.

They’re doing good in the ratings. 620,000ish, they’re not doing terrible. USA Network is happy with this. I had a conversation with someone on Tuesday from USA and they’re like, ‘Yeah, we’re fine with the six-somethings,’ because listen, even with that slammed roster with like NXT being NXT they were doing the 700,000s… USA doesn’t care if there are some WWE guys there, they just want ratings. I think they’re happy with the 600 and something rating you know like that 620-650, a 7 [00] for like a big show that’s like. That’s a decent range. Yeah, it’s not that bad.”

NXT 2.0 will also bring in more main roster stars for the development of the product. We’ll have to wait and see whether the overall show will see much improvement in the coming months.
