NXT 2.0 made its debut in September last year and it promised an entirely new outlook on the product. While it did bring about quite a few changes, not all of them were met with a positive reception. More main roster stars are likely to appear during the show as well.

With a fresh look and coat of paint, came a new sense of direction which has seen a new set of WWE Superstars, especially the likes of Bron Breakker. That being said, few talents have yet to truly connect with the fans.

For the past few months, main roster stars such as AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler have been appearing on NXT. In fact, Ziggler even became the new NXT Champion by defeating Bron Breakker.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the company will be using more main roster talents from time to time on NXT. This will be done to build up the brand.

“Yep, we’ll see how that does. I mean, that’s the big thing. The strategy to build the developmental brand is to have a star from Raw on the show almost every week and to plug that on Monday to build to Tuesday. They didn’t shoot any angle on the show, but they did plug, Miz being there with Dolph Ziggler. No Bron Breakker. Bron Breakker and [Tommaso] Ciampa, they were supposed to be on the weekend [house] shows. Breakker was on the weekend shows. Ciampa worked today’s show, but he was on Main Event, he was not on Raw, so they’ve been around.”

It is likely Bron Breakker will defeat Dolph Ziggler soon to become the NXT Champion again. We’ll have to see which other main roster stars will make their way to NXT in the future.
