AEW set forth to provide a proper alternative form of pro wrestling content. In order to make that happen, the company is always looking to sign the most talented pro wrestlers available. This is what they did with The Acclaimed as well.

The Acclaimed, comprised of Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, has slowly become one of the most popular tag teams in AEW. This is thanks to their in-ring skills and rapping gimmick.

Jeff Hardy finally made his debut on AEW Dynamite last week after he saved his brother Matt. It officially signalled the reunion of The Hardy Boyz, much to the excitement of fans.

While speaking on Rasslin,’ Anthony Bowens and Max Caster talked about dream opponents in AEW. The Acclaimed made it clear they want a piece of The Hardy Boyz.

“I think competition is great, and we get to prove ourselves every week against some of the best teams in the world. And keep proving why we are the best team in the world. And plus, we get to have all these matches, for me The Hardy Boyz would be a dream match as a kid. Never would I think when I was 10 years old I would have the chance to beat the cr*p out of Matt and Jeff Hardy. So, every week is an opportunity to prove why we are the best in the world, and it’s exciting.”

The Hardy Boyz also want to go after the AEW World Tag Team Championships and have teased feuds with the likes of The Young Bucks among others. We’ll have to see whether they duke it out with The Acclaimed or not in the future.
