The show also featured several matches including a number one contender’s match for the AEW Women’s title and a TNT Championship match. Thunder Rosa took on “Legit” Leyla Hirsch in AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator, while Sammy Guevara defended his title against Scorpio Sky.

AEW announced two huge title matches for next week’s episode of Dynamite. One of the matches will see Thunder Rosa get her title shot against AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker inside a steel cage. Rosa has the hometown advantage going into the match as next Wednesday’s Dynamite will take place in San Antonio.

Newly-crowned AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky will defend his title against Face of the Revolution ladder match winner Wardlow. Sky defeated Guevara following a hard-fought contest, but will he retain his title in his first defense against Mr. Mayhem himself?

AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page will once again be in action next week. Page will be involved in a six-man tag team match alongside reigning AEW tag champs The Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus). The trio will take on Adam Cole and reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish).
