Ricky Starks’ raw talent as a pro wrestler is undeniable and has a bright future ahead of him in AEW. He is currently the FTW Champion and is one of the mainstays of AEW television. He is also very outspoken when it comes to the pro wrestling product.

He is also is constantly compared to The Rock, fact which surprises him. Especially when it comes to the way he dresses and his mannerisms and promo skills. The comparisons are certainly plausible according to many.

During the Face Of The Revolution ladder match at AEW Revolution, Ricky Starks was involved in a scary spot after Wardlow powerbombed Starks from the top of a ladder, onto another ladder. Starks landed on his neck, which made fans fear the worst as Starks previously had neck surgery.

While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan provided an update on Ricky Starks’ condition after the scary bump. Khan assured fans that Ricky Starks is okay.

“Yes, he’s okay. His neck’s okay. It was a very scary moment in a big match but he’s gonna be okay. He’s been awesome and tremendous for us and everyone in that match did great and I was really happy for the fact that he was okay. So thank you for bringing that up. It was not pleasant and I wouldn’t ask him to go out and wrestle 60 minutes or anything but he’s gonna be okay.”

It is certainly great to know that Ricky Starks is doing okay after that scary spot. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Ricky Starks after AEW Revolution.
