WWE released a lot of people over the last year and many are expecting to see Shane Swerve Strickland in AEW. He’s on his way, but we do know of one place he won’t debut, the Face of the Revolution ladder match.

Fightful Select reports that Shane “Sw3rve” Strickland is has signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and is expected to debut tonight at Revolution. The former NXT North American Champion was spotted at the AEW concert Saturday night.

“Sw3rve lives in Orlando, but was at the AEW concert on Saturday night. Last we heard, Sw3rve wasn’t expected for tonight’s ladder match, but is set to debut imminently.”

The former Isiah Scott is a veteran of the independent circuit and is expected to be a valuable addition to AEW’s already-stacked roster. He was released from the WWE as part of the budget cuts announced by the company last year.

Strickland previously revealed that he was interested in working in the Jacksonville-based promotion. He spoke about potentially showing up in AEW during a recent interview with Casual Conversations.
