Ring Of Honor shocked the pro wrestling world to its core when it announced that it was going to undergo a reimagining. This led to the company releasing all of its talents at the same time. It seems the former owner Ring Of Honor reacted to Tony Khan buying the company as well.

AEW President Tony Khan shocked the world as he announced that he has purchased the entirety of Ring Of Honor on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It was said he paid a lot of money for ROH as well.

While speaking to Ringsiders Wrestling, former Ring Of Honor owner Cary Silkin talked about Tony Khan buying the company. Silkin hoped that ROH would eventually become a part of AEW television as well.

“I hate using these wrestling terms. Oh that I’m kayfabing, I’m full of ****, but I don’t know about it yet. Let’s hope that it, you know, this becomes a part of the programming or some additional programming and it keeps the Ring of Honor name alive and well.”

ROH’s Supercard Of Honor and TV tapings will still be happening after Tony Khan’s acquisition. We will have to wait and see whether ROH will truly thrive with Khan as its new owner or not.
