Bryan Danielson’s accolades as a professional wrestler certainly need no introduction as they proved to be one of the best in the business. He spent several years working in WWE as one of their top stars and towards the end of his run, Bryan Danielson was even part of WWE Creative. It seems Drew Gulak has a very high opinion of Bryan Danielson and CM Punk as well.

CM Punk also worked in WWE for several years and became one of the biggest stars in the company’s history. Both Danielson and Punk helped change how top WWE wrestlers were perceived during their time in the company.

While speaking on the podcast Casual Conversations, Drew Gulak talked about the impact Bryan Danielson and CM Punk had in pro wrestling and explained how they broke the glass ceiling in WWE.

“Guys like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson did, getting hired initially, being these independent wrestlers and pushing through the barriers, breaking through the glass ceiling and making it.”

Bryan Danielson also previously revealed that he never considered signing with WWE as cashing out. Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley will be squaring off against each other at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 6th while CM Punk will compete against MJF in a Dog Collar match at the same event. We will have to wait and see how Danielson and Punk will fare in their respective matches.
