MJF has been touted as one of the defining heels of the current generation of pro wrestlers and it is not difficult to understand why. MJF became huge star in AEW in a short time and since then has consistently delivered in his feuds. It seems Jim Cornette gave him huge props as well for his most recent promo.

The Salt of the Earth is devoted to his craft as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. His dedication to his credit has won him over with fans who simply love to hate him.

On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF revealed a vulnerable side of him for the first time, which certainly shocked fans. It also received tons of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike.

While speaking on, “The Jim Cornette Experience“, Jim Cornette talked about MJF’s promo on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Cornette gave MJF huge props for his promo ability and for making it so real. He also took a shot at The Miz for good measure.

“The emotion, and he was quivering and he was kind of tearing up a little bit, and it’s obviously – I actually have no idea if he made a lot of money getting money thrown at him but there was a lot of real in this and he was drawing on some of that.

It is simply an example of – Miz wouldn’t have done this because Miz could not do this because it would have required him being somewhat real, and Miz is just like the celebrity type.”

MJF is set to square off against CM Punk in a Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution on March 6th next month. We will have to wait and see how their feud will continue to develop in the coming weeks.
