CM Punk Given Huge Props For His Unique Promo Ability

CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. It certainly changed the pro wrestling world as many people took notice of the company. It seems CM Punk was given props for his promo skills as well.

CM Punk has become one of the mainstays of AEW television and has feuded against several stars. His most high profile feud so fair in AEW has certainly been with MJF, as it continued for the past few months.

While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, Jim Cornette talked about his admiration for CM Punk. Cornette then proceeded to give CM Punk huge props for his unique promo ability, despite not being on the same level as Ric Flair or Ricky Steamboy in terms of in-ring ability.

“I’m not going to say that CM Punk is my idea of Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat in the ring, but he has a unique promo ability. And the way he thinks about things, all of his s*** is logical and simply makes sense. I also admire the fact that Punk also has the guts to stand up for himself like Mick Foley when he would quit WCW when Ollie was booking rather than get beaten into powder.”

CM Punk is set to square off against MJF in a Dog Collar match at AEW Revolution on March 6th. We will have to wait and see who will end up winning the match as it is certainly a highly anticipated match.
