Max Caster of The Acclaimed landed himself in hot water last year. Max Caster caused a lot of controversy when he rapped about Simone Biles’ mental health and the Duke lacrosse team made the air on AEW Dark. It seems another of his lines was recently edited out as well.

Tony Khan himself was very upset at the controversial rap and stated that he himself will now be in charge of the editing for Dark and Dark: Elevation from now on.

With Rampage being taped in advance, there is an option of editing out anything that the company doesn’t want to be aired. As revealed by fans on social media, the rap from Max Caster live included the line “Play with the Acclaimed, you gotta be stupid. This guy’s as popular as Vladimir Putin,” but it did not make its way onto television.

However, the remainder of the rap was untouched as it could be seen it was Max Caster simply being provocative ahead of Anthony Bowens’ match against Orange Cassidy.

“Yo I don’t like you, Anthony is about to come fight you. Best Friends, very nice, very evil. But I guess you’re not friends with any Black people.”

It is understandable why AEW decided to edit out the Vladimir Putin line considering the current situation with Russia and Ukraine.
