There is no doubt that Kofi Kingston is a veteran in the pro wrestling world in the truest sense of the word, as he has worked in WWE for over decade. He has competed in several memorable matches and won various titles during his run in the company. It seems he is already preparing for next year’s Royal Rumble match.
Kofi Kingston is always the highlight in a Royal Rumble match due to his creative ways of avoiding elimination. However, that was not the case during this year’s Royal Rumble match as he was shortly eliminated afterwards after a botched jump to the outside.
Kingston previously made it clear he wouldn’t change anything about the botch. While speaking to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Kofi Kingston revealed that he already has ideas for spots in time for next year’s Royal Rumble after failing this year.
“I can’t wait for next year’s Rumble because I already have a bunch of different ideas. Normally, I wait until the day of or the week of to think of something to do. Ironically, after having that failed attempt, my mind has been flooded with three, four, five different ideas already for next year. It’s all good. It’s a lesson in putting yourself out there. What I’m trying to emphasize to people is not being afraid to fail. If you want to do something that’s epic, cool, and fulfilling, there’s going to be a level of risk. Unfortunately at the Rumble, I didn’t quite make it. There will always be next year.”
WWE also planned a big spot for Kofi Kingston involving Big E in the Royal Rumble match as well. Kingston is more than willing to learn from the past and that is what truly matters in the end.
