WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania and they have working plan for their biggest show of the year. Despite a previous report, the company also has Edge’s Mania opponent locked into place. Some big matches are expected and one familar name in the WWE family will get involved in a different respect than usual.

A report came out from Brad Shepard, who has actually nailed a few stories in recent memory, that Pat McAfee is expected to take part in a WrestleMania angle. It is no secret that Pat McAfee can perform in the ring, given his outings with Adam Cole in NXT which included a WarGames match.

Ringside News asked around about this and we have been able to confirm that this report is accurate. Pat McAfee is expected to take part in some sort of WrestleMania feud.

WWE wants to get as many big names involved with the show of shows as possible. The fact that they have Pat McAfee on their payroll already comes in very handy at a time like this.

We were unable to confirm whether McAfee will be in an actual match or if he’ll just be in an angle. Either way, let’s hope his involvement in the show of shows doesn’t pull him off commentary, because he is absolutely stupendous in that role.
