Cesaro was one of the most criminally underrated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Swiss Superman had shown on numerous occasions why he was one of the best in-ring performers in the company. It seems his exit was more of a WWE decision.

It came to such a point that even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley said he would literally get on his knees and beg Vince McMahon to give Cesaro chance in the company.

Unfortunately, Cesaro left WWE recently after his contract expired and he did not sign another contract with the company. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cesaro leaving the company was more of a WWE decision as he didn’t necessarily want to leave like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn or AJ Styles. However, WWE made him an offer he simply didn’t like in the end.

This was more of a WWE decision than a Cesaro decision in the sense he wasn’t looking to leave like others were, but they made an offer he didn’t like. He is free to go anywhere immediately.

They didn’t offer him a huge deal like Owens and Zayn and Styles to stay.

Cesaro has also not received an offer from AEW as of yet. Vince McMahon was also never on board in pushing Cesaro as top talent. It remains to be seen where Cesaro will end up next.
